2025/06/25 Renewal of My Website
2022年３月より長年使ってきたこのホームページ兼ブログ「ミライへのタネ」をこの度完全リニューアルしました。これまではメインにブログとして使ってきたのですが、活動の幅を広げるため、タイトルを「HIROAKI SAITO Ph.D.」とし、僕に関するさまざまなコンテンツを提供するサイトとして展開していければと思います。引き続きよろしくお願いします。
I have completely renewed my website/blog, ‘Mirai eno Tane (Seeds for Future)’. Formerly, I was using it as a blog. However, in order to expand the scope of my activities, I have changed the title to ‘HIROAKI SAITO Ph.D.’ and plan to develop it as my official website that provides a variety of content related to me and my activities. I look forward to your continued support.
2025/06/15 Verspah Oita Game Visit
今セメスターにゲストスピーカーで来ていただいていたVerspah Oitaさんに試合見学のお誘いをいただき、ゼミ生と一緒に初めてゲームを観戦しに行きました。梅雨時期にも関わらず、天気も良く、JFLトップのチームを下し、見事に勝利しました！ゲストスピーカーに関するプレスは こちらから。
Invited by Verspah Oita, who was a guest speaker this semester, I went to see the game for the first time with my zemi students. Despite it being the rainy season, the weather was fine, and they defeated the top team in the JFL and won a spectacular victory!
2025/06/10 OBS Radio
OBS Radioで波野さんがパーソナリティを務める「オギデン」にてゲスト出演させていただきました。学生時代のこと、そして今の職についた経緯などをお話しさせていただきました。
Invited as a guest on OBS Radio’s “Ogiden,” which is hosted by Mr. Namino. I talked about my school days and how I got my current job.
2025/05/27-30 APacCHRIE Conference in Chiang Mai, Thailand
僕が理事を務めるツーリズム・ホスピタリティ最大級のAPacCHRIEカンファレンスに参加しにタイ・チェンマイに行ってきました。初のチェンマイは非常に素晴らしい古都で、VIPツアーで地元の人しか行かない場所や博物館などを見学させていただきました。次の開催地は大阪！
I went to Chiang Mai, Thailand, to attend the APacCHRIE Conference, the largest tourism and hospitality conference, where I serve as a board member. It was my first time in Chiang Mai, and it was a wonderful ancient city. I was able to visit places and museums on a VIP tour. The next conference will be held in Osaka!
2025/03/23-28 Business trip to Okinawa
今回は６日間に及ぶ少し長めの沖縄出張。北部から南部まで移動しながらさまざまな観光地のプラクティスや観光客の動向を調査することができました。
This time, the slightly longer business trip to Okinawa lasted six days. Moving from the north to the south, I was able to investigate practices and tourist trends in various tourist destinations.
2025/03/16-18 Business trip to Tokyo
協力していただいてるホテルマネジメント会社のCEOおよび役員の方々へプロジェクトのアップデートをしてきました。非常に興味を持っていただき、今後様々な共同プロジェクトができることを期待しています。
I provided a project update to the CEO and executives of the hotel management company we’re collaborating with. They showed great interest, and I’m hopeful that this will lead to various joint projects in the future.
2025/02/24-26 Business trip to Osaka
だいぶ久々となる大阪出張を観光。今回の目的は一緒に研究プロジェクトをしているメンバーとの打ち合わせ。元卒業生とのキャッチアップもできて有意義な出張になりました。
I went on a business trip to Osaka for the first time after a while. The purpose of this trip was to meet with the research project member. As I could catch up with my former student, it became a meaningful trip.
2025/02/06-16 Business trip to Brisbane, Australia
約１年ぶりにとなるブリスベンへの出張を行いました。今回は国際カンファレンスの CAUTHEへの参加も行い、オーストラリア時代の同僚のみなさんと久々に会うことができ、いい刺激をもらいました。
I made my first business trip to Brisbane in almost a year. This time, I also attended the international conference CAUTHE, where I was able to meet with colleagues from my time in Australia after a while, which was a good stimulus.
2025/01/22 FM Oita Radio
FM Oitaの後藤圭子さんがパーソナリティを務める「 世界に一番近いラジオ」にて１月２８、２月４日・１１日放送のラジオにゲスト出演させていただきました。普段学生や学内の方でも知らないことを赤裸々に話しました。
I had the opportunity to be a guest on “ Sekai ni Ichiban Chikai Radio” hosted by Ms. Keiko Goto from FM Oita, airing on January 28, February 4, and February 11. I openly shared stories and insights that even my students and colleagues at the university might not usually hear!
2025/01/17-20 Business trip to Bangkok, Thailand
APacCHRIIEのBoard Meetingで初のバンコク出張！これまで色々な国に行ってきましたが、実は東南アジアの国は初！タイ独特の寺院などの風景や、日本の企業の進出などを目の当たりにしました。日本人にとってはすごく住みやすい国かもしれない。
My first business trip to Bangkok for the APacCHRIIE Board Meeting! I’ve travelled to many countries, but this was my first time visiting a Southeast Asian country. I got to see Thailand’s unique temples and landscapes, as well as the presence of many Japanese companies expanding there. It might be a very good place for Japanese people to live!
